The Donya Agreement provided for the integration of FARF into both the national armed forces and the civil service, and FARF was transformed into a political party. It further provided for a general amnesty to members of FARF. It required the withdrawal of Government armed forces from southern Chad. It also established a Truth and Justice Commission to investigate alleged human rights abuses by both sides.
