The Parties to the Agreement on the Adoption of the Doha Document adopted the Doha Darfur Peace Document (DDPD), including the provisions on participation of the LJM at the different levels of power and the arrangements to integrate its forces through DDR, and agreed to implement all the provisions thereof.

The Parties to the Protocol on Political Participation affirmed their desire to strengthen their political partnership to promote peace and agreed to political participation at the national level, in the DRA organs and at the state and local levels. The Parties agreed on the posts to be filled by members of the LJM at each of the levels. The Parties agreed on security arrangements to be fulfilled by the LJM as a precondition for integration of the LJM forces into the Armed and Police Forces and demobilisation and reintegration into civil society.
